A quick tour of MRISim
How to use thisClick Next, or use the arrow keys. Each step has one thing to try and a button that opens the real feature in a new tab.
Do it hands-onKeep the site open in another tab and actually try each step. That is where it sticks.
About 10 minutesNine short stops, from signing in to editing a protocol.
Try itOpen mrisimlab.com in a second tab now, so it is ready as you go.

Step 1 of 9 · Your account
Everything in one place
Sign inTap Continue with Google. The screen may mention supabase.co, the secure sign-in provider. That is expected.
Free to useThe simulator, the protocol planner, the question set, and the reference library are accessible once you are signed in.
Progress follows youYour work syncs to your account, so accessing on your phone or your PC stay in step.
Try itSign in, then look at the top bar: Simulator, Course, Quiz, Reference, and Protocol planning.

Step 2 of 9 · The simulator
Watch the image change
- Presets: ready-made brain, spine, and body protocols
- The image: computed from the physics, not a stock picture
- Live numbers: scan time, SNR, CNR, and SAR update as you go
- Controls and tabs: sequence, region, field strength, and more
It is a real engineChange a setting and the whole image is recomputed the way the scanner would.
Everything is liveScan time and SNR move the moment you touch a parameter, so trade-offs are visible.
Try itPick the Brain T2 SE preset, then in the Contrast tab sweep TE upward and watch the CSF turn bright.

Step 3 of 9 · The simulator
Make the contrast make sense
Read any pixelHover a pixel to see its tissue and its T1, T2, and PD values, so contrast becomes something you can check.
See the whole landscapeThe contrast map shows every TR and TE combination at once, with your current setting marked.
Compare side by sideSet one look as A, change to another, and flip between them to see exactly what moved.
Try itSet a T1 image as A, switch the sequence to T2, then use Compare A/B to flip between them.

Step 4 of 9 · The guided course
The full curriculum
Twenty-one lessons, 89 modulesCore physics and safety first, then advanced imaging. Each module reads like a lesson, with worked examples, memory hooks, and exam traps.
Interactive physics diagramsChange a value in a diagram and watch the curve or the image respond, right inside the lesson.
Built to the ARRT blueprintThe whole path is weighted to the four registry categories.
Try itOpen the course, take the short placement test to find your weak spots, then open Module 1.

Step 5 of 9 · The question bank
Over 600 questions
Organized by topicIn the same proportions as the registry exam, so your practice matches the test.
Every answer explains itselfAnswer, rationale, and the trap to avoid, so a miss becomes a lesson on the spot.
Spaced reviewThe topics you miss come back on a schedule until they stick.
Try itOpen the quiz, pick a topic, answer one question, and read the full explanation before moving on.

Step 6 of 9 · Readiness
Check your readiness
Full-length mock examsBlueprint-weighted, like the real thing, so cleared to scan is a score and not a guess.
ARRT readiness panelMaps your performance to the four ARRT categories and shows where you stand against the blueprint weights.
Know before you goUse it to decide what to review next, right up to exam day.
Try itIn the course, open the readiness panel to see your four category percentages, then start a mock exam.

Step 7 of 9 · The reference library
Quick answers resource
More than 100 short entriesSequence choices, artifact fixes, safety facts, positioning and coverage, and contrast rules.
Built to skimKey points up top, so the answer is a few seconds away rather than a chapter away.
Same facts as the courseNothing here contradicts what you learned in the modules.
Try itOpen the reference and search for a term you saw today, like STIR or SAR, and read the entry.
Open the reference ↗
Step 8 of 9 · The protocol planner
A scanner console for positioning
- Exam picker: choose a body part and its protocol
- Protocol queue: the sequences to plan, in order
- Three-plane scout: set the plane, angle the slices, place the FOV
Plan like on a real consolePick an exam, then set up each sequence on the scout views and acquire the example image.
Check your angulationA movable, resizable overlay shows the correct slice prescription for the plane you are setting up.
Try itOpen the planner, pick Brain, open a sequence, angle the slice group on a scout, then Acquire. Toggle Reference angulation to check yourself.

Step 9 of 9 · Putting it together
How to use it in your first week
Your first week
Safety firstStart with the safety module and pass its check before you go near the magnet.
Find your gapsTake the placement test, then work the modules it points you to, trying each idea in the simulator.
Build the habitA few questions a day, and the planner whenever you learn a new body part. Your account keeps score.
Try itPick one thing to do today: pass the safety module, or run five questions and one simulator scan.
