Learn MRI by seeing the physics
MRISim is a browser-based MRI physics simulator and a guided course. It turns the equations behind an MR image into something you can watch respond, so the concepts stick.
What it is
Most MRI teaching is static: diagrams and formulas that never move. MRISim runs a real physics engine in your browser. Change the sequence, TR, TE, or flip angle and the reconstructed image updates the way a scanner's would, so you build intuition for how the parameters shape contrast, signal, resolution and scan time. There is nothing to install and no account needed to start.

How it fits together
The simulator, protocol planner, lessons and quiz are free and open to everyone, with no account. The guided course is a structured path that adds in-depth lessons, a large registry-style question bank, mock exams and a searchable reference library, with your progress tracked as you go, and is currently free to signed-in users. The free tools are how you explore; the course is how you prepare.
Open source and open data
The MRISim software is open source under the MIT License. It renders real, openly licensed anatomy; the datasets and their licenses are listed on the credits page. It is an educational tool, not a medical device, and is not affiliated with any registry or certifying body.
