Terms
Terms of Service
Last updated 7 July 2026
By using MRISim ("the site") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The service
MRISim provides a browser-based MRI physics simulator, protocol planner, lessons and quiz that are free to use, and a guided course (currently free to signed-in users) with additional lessons, questions, mock exams and a reference library. We may change, add or remove features over time.
Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the email you provide and for activity under your account. Sign-in is passwordless (Google or a one-time email link).
The guided course and payment
The guided course is currently free to signed-in users. If paid access is offered, the course is a one-time purchase for lifetime access at the price shown at checkout, in US dollars, processed by Stripe; by purchasing you also agree to Stripe's terms, and applicable taxes may be added. Access is granted to the account you purchase under.
Refunds
If you purchased the course and it isn't right for you, you can get a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Use the Request a refund button on your course page for an instant, self-serve refund, or email erolakkoc8@gmail.com. Where the law gives you a longer or stronger cancellation right, that right applies.
Acceptable use
- Your account and course access are for you alone. Don't share your login or let others use it.
- Don't redistribute, resell, or publicly post the course content.
- Don't attempt to bypass payment or access controls, or disrupt the service.
- Don't scrape or bulk-download the site beyond normal personal use.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access to any account that breaches these terms or misuses the service. If we end an account for a serious breach and the course was purchased, no refund is due. You can stop using the site at any time.
Intellectual property
The MRISim software is released under the MIT License. The anatomical datasets it renders remain under their own licenses, credited on the credits page. The course material (lessons, questions, reference entries) is our content and is provided for your personal learning only. Product names and trademarks referenced on the site belong to their respective owners.
Educational use only
MRISim is an educational tool and study aid. It is not a medical device, and its images and outputs must not be used for diagnosis, treatment, or any clinical or patient-care decision. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or any other registry or certifying body, and it does not guarantee any exam result.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MRISim and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the state and federal courts located in New York will have jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms; the "last updated" date will change and continued use means you accept the update.
